Close to Leidseplein which is a very popular area for restaurants, cafes, bars and nightlife. You can walk to Vondelpark in 5-mins, meaning Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum are very close by.

There is free Wi-Fi , a bar, good breakfast, family rooms and daily housekeeping. Hotel La Boheme has a very homely feel and is particularly popular with couples and families.

Close to Leidseplein which gives you access to plenty of restaurants and bars on your doorstep. You can walk to Museum Square in 10-mins or use public tranpsort from Leidseplein to get anywhere else in Amsterdam very quickly.

Rooms have TV and coffee machine and private bathroom. There is also a bar on site. It should be noted this hotel may not be appropriate for anyone with reduced mobility as some of the rooms are up steep stairs, there are four floors and there is no elevator.

A short walk from Central Station (600 yards) makes this a great location for those arriving by Eurostar or from Schiphol Airport. Budget Hotel Tourist Inn occupies two separate buildings and you can stay here in private rooms with private bathrooms or shared or you can stay in dormitory style rooms of up to 6 guests.

Breakfast is included and there is free Wi-Fi, 24-hr front desk and an elevator. Walking out the hotel you can be in Dam Square in a matter of minutes, Anne Frank House and De Wallen are also easily reached on foot.

Another hotel located close to Leidseplein which gives you access to a great nightlife scene and plenty of bars and restaurants. The Amistad, though close to the action is on one of the quieter streets. It is also close to the flower market which is a bonus for the senses.

Breakfast is included and is Dutch style with pancakes or omelettes. It is even served until 12pm for any late risers.

Rooms are modern and renovated, accessed by stairs and have tea/coffee and flat screen TV.

The name Old Quarter gives away its location, so if you want a hotel as close to Central Station as possible, this is a great budget choice.

Stepping out the hotel you will find yourself only needing a short 2-min stroll to the Red Light District or in 5-mins you can be in Dam Square. With Central Station so close by, it is a great base to explore the rest of Amsterdam using public transport or to go further afield using the trains.

Breakfast is offered in the restaurant and in the evening you can relax in the bar. There are family rooms (6 twin beds) and single, double, triple and quadruple rooms available.

Nicely located close to Hortus Botanicus and Royal Artis Zoo with easy access into the heart of Amsterdam or to Museum Square.

The hotel is within a classic canal house and if you choose a front room you’ll have a canal view, if you choose a rear room then you look over the hidden Amsterdam gardens. There are four stories and no elevator.

Located on the edge of Rembrandtplein which is a lively square with lots of bars, restaurants and clubs available. You can also be in the Flower Market in a couple of minutes. Dam Square is a 10-min walk away or you can use the trams to other parts of the city.

If you like art then Hotel Atlanta has a special place in art history, as Piet Mondrian lived and painted in this hotel for a few years back in 1903. There are odes to his paintings throughout the walls of the hotel.
