Madurodam tickets for a perfect family adventure

Enjoy a day exploring the Netherlands in replicated miniature cities

Madurodam tickets offer you a great family day out just 45 minutes outside Amsterdam. Here you will find a miniature world focussed on everything the Netherlands has to offer. From its history to its historic buildings there are plenty of fun things to do and keep kids and adults entertained. One of the bits we like best is that it is so close to the beach too. So, once you have explored the miniature world of the Netherlands you can easily pop to the Schveningen beach in 10 minutes and end a day out in style. You can also visit The Hague which is a stunning city full of treasures.

Madurodam tickets in Netherlands

Madurodam tickets are very popular for families and couples. It is a great place to spend half a day or so exploring the history of Holland in a pretty and unusual way. The models are all exact replicas of important buildings and they even tend the greenery to match the scale. You’ll find classic windmills, canals, buildings and monuments all telling the history of how the Netherlands came into being.

There are interactive activities too which will keep the kids and adults entertained, these include water games, air traffic control, operating locks and much more. As the park is in minature but beautfully designed there are also plenty of interesting photo opportunities.

Madurodam tickets cost

  • Day ticket – from €18
  • Family ticket (4 entry tickets) – from €75.00
  • Children (0-2) – Free

It is recommended that tickets are booked in advance, you can pay extra to have a ticket booked without a date and then choose your date nearer the time, or if you know which date you want to visit you can book that directly with a time slot.

There are no current Coronavirus restrictions in place and most of the park is outdoors.

You will find Madurodam is included in lots of day tours from Amsterdam which feature Deflt, Rotterdam and The Hague too.  This is quite handy for families who want to explore some of the cultural sites, but worry about the kids getting bored on a day tour, with Madurodam on the itiniary the kids will have something more tailored to them that they can look forward to as well (if they don’t enjoy museums that is).
